Where do I begin? Never going by google reviews again. My mom brought her dog here. Yes he was overdue for rabies by a couple months (we were trying to find a good vet that isn't just in it for money)
Well I picked wrong for her. She is on fixed income and I don't mind paying her vet bill at all.
She brings the dog in who is having extreme thirst and urination. (Assuming its his kidneys)
He does an exam. Says he will give her the rabies for free. (Remind you he isn't well) she says no and he does it anyways because its the law or whatever. Who vaccinates an animal that is drinking and urinating a lot? After nickle and dime pricing he does give her money off. Ok fast forward to the next day they call and say "kidneys compromised"- no details (luckily I use to work in the field and get it but it took 3 days and a meeting to find out its kidney failire)
So they tell her to come pick up medication and food (I paid for her and didn't even tell me a total) she goes to pick it up and they say "We don't have that yet maybe this afternoon for his medication. We don't have the food either we can give you canned food for now". I know times are difficult but the lack of knowledge/ communication on the phone, in person etc is quite ridiculous. The charges on the receipt.. you charge an extra $10.00 to draw blood? That should be included with the damn blood test.
Just from things I heard on speaker phone they do not actually care about pets health.... seriously look at the charges on each item of the bill that I have no issue paying but come on lol
Vaccinate a sick dog, make someone go nuts for 3 days for the medication, nobody can answer simple questions ?
Not a fan of lack of professionalism honestly. I could keep going but I've typed enough. We will take the dog to a different vet that cares and has highly trained staff.
