We took our cat in for declaw. Took her to our regular vet to check up on her and they noted that he did a terrible job and with not enough aftercare to carry her through her healing process. We've now paid just as much in aftercare trying to get her back on track as we did for the overall procedure through Dr. Ganz. This was a botched declawing surgery and I hope that others heed warning and go elsewhere.

This Doctor shows no compassion for your cat. I brought my cat into him to have her fixed, so he he fixed her but sent her home with an infection which caused a major fever a day after bringing her home, wasn't sure what was going on except that she was very very sick, so I brought her back and he told me she had an intestinal blockage and needed a 700 dollar surgery and I could sense that he did not care at all and felt like he was more worried about lining his pockets, then he sent me home with a hefty x ray bill. Then I decided on his clerks advise, to let the cat try to pass the blockage and mean while lined up her put to sleep apointment as she could not move.So two days passed and I got week hearted decided I needed one more opinion from a different vet in Monticello. That vet could not beleive he told me the cat needed surgery, to make a long story short it need antibacterial cream for a an infection on her back side of her but and she was better in two days and since she's lived a happy six years. I call this guy DR Death who has know compassion and cares about his pocket book more than your pet.
