I am new to this particular area of NC and everyone I spoke with suggested I take my pet to Fox Run due to the weird hours I'm working right now. I checked the web for their hours which, in multiple locations, were listed as 6pm to 8pm and took my pet Wednesday March 27th at 5:45, expecting a line. There was only another woman and myself there. Due to the weather, which was in the mid 30's with a strong and cold wind, I waited with my covered up pet in the car until 6. At 6:05 pm the other woman and I waited outside for the doors to open. We didn't want to be rude or impatient, but due to the weather and us both having sick pets, we knocked on the door. There was a woman inside at the front desk who looked up at us. Fearing the cold was too much for my pet, I put her back into the car to shield her from the wind. We continued to wait until 6:10 and knocked again which was ignored. My boyfriend, who was with me at the time, called with his cell phone. The woman inside ignored it. Both the other woman and I left at 6:15 after finding out their hours have changed by calling an acquaintence who had been there recently.

I can accept business hours changing, and I can accept that in other places of business that a customer would be ignored as a result. Things happen and that's perfectly okay. What's NOT okay to me, is in an industry where you're dealing with PATIENTS and NOT just "customers", is to ignore these people who have brought sick animals in need of care when they're outside in bad weather conditions when multiple sources have hours that were once correct and nothing is on the door stating otherwise. To me that says the people who work here do not care about pets at all, and if the other people who work here do, the woman who was inside needs to be re-evaluated as an employee. She could have written a note and put it on the door if she was worried about opening the door after hours (which would be understandable), or she could have answered the phone. I would not bring any pet back to Fox Run because of this experience.

No, but there was a little grass outside the office so it was fine
