Thoughtful, considerate and soothing. I've watched Barb as she tended to and cared for many "babies" (not mine) and was taken by her kind demeanor, knowledge and professionalism. She talked me through caring for my mare (who was trying to colic) via the phone (Barb was out of town, on an emergency call with a horse down). Even though Barb could not be with my baby and I (physically), the truth is, she might has well have been. I felt comforted and confident as Barb was on the phone with me in order to advise and talk me through next steps of bringing my mare back from what could have been a devastatingly, life changing situation.

I highly recommend Barb Schmidt as an equine vet for anyone that passionately loves and cares for their horses.
