We are devastated, our loving cat of 10 years is gone and we do not know why. He was under the weather for 2 days so we started out by taking him to a vet near our home last Friday, had never been there before. He was running a temp so they gave us some antibiotics and ran blood work. Vet never called with results, we finally got a hold of them before they closed at noon, seemed unconcerned.. Temp still up Saturday afternoon, took him to the Animal emergency clinic, his temp was high, they gave him fluids and sent him home, paper says "not critical" and return Iif needed, seemed ok place.. Sunday evening temp was still high, we took him back and doc wanted to keep him for a few hours, gave him intervenous antibiotics and called us a few hour later to pick him up. Less than 1hour later, he collapsed at home and:DIED!!!! Why did this happen ? WE are grief stricken.
