The follow up care was excellent, as well as explaining procedure and care. All staff were welcoming and unpretentious. This was one factor that led me away from another doctor, staff that were aloof and not very understanding. Dr. Mangubat and staff were personable and understand your nervousness and are willing and able to lessen your concerns. Very pleased with my results.

The experience is always calm and does not produce any anxiety before the visit. I know the post-ops will be quick and easy. This also highlights how everything is going really well post-surgery, Mangubat and his crew have done a great job with everything and all is healing great! I am 3mo out and some of the scarring is already lightening/becoming less obvious.

Doctor and staff have been extremely friendly and respectful throughout the experience. Only exception was my visit where the drains were removed. The gentleman who removed the drains, who I had never met, rushed through the procedure, while I understand you want to get them pulled as quickly as possible, I was not comfortably sitting in the seat and supported, instead all my body weight was on my neck and the head rest, with my back arched. I asked him if I could adjust, and his reply was that he was almost done. I generally felt rushed and unsupported by this associate. This was the only negative part of my experience with my surgery, everyone else has been wonderful.

Everyone was super friendly and professional, and made themselves available for my (many) questions and worries. I felt confident I was in very capable hands, which proved to indeed be the case!

I felt really comforted by staff during the day of surgery, but in the beginning and during interactions before the surgery day felt the staff could have been better trained on pronouns, specifically gender neutral pronouns. Also the intake forms say 'nickname' instead of 'preferred name' which is offensive.
