My name is Sharita Mayo and it is very refreshing to know I am not alone in this. However, reading everyones review I fear the worse. I was referred Ava Marshall almost one year ago, by Judge Ann Osborne, for a home evaluation to be conducted on the custodial parent and my home. This lady has purposely failed to meet deadlines, knowing that I was due back in court for a custody modification ( upon a written evaluation report). She constantly procrastinated and at one point even stopped taking my calls. She made me miss 3 custody hearings, and than told the custodial parent attorney, that I was being uncooperative. I have a slew of email correspondence to corroborate my repeated attempts to schedule an appointment. When I confronted her about this, she tried to make me think I was not following the rules by sending emails, because I should have kept calling her office to schedule. For one, her house/office is somewhere in the woods and not easily accessible. And for two, months and months later when she made the home visit, her son knocked on my door and asked me to come and interview with her in the car. I told her no because I have an underage child in the home. It than took her almost a half hour to get out of the car and up my front steps. When she came in she was too disabled to inspect the home herself. She had to ask her son to come in a take photos for her. She than begin to question my 8 year, about where my laptop came from and why he has a cartoon dragon on his shirt. When I asked about the relevance of her questions, she than became antagonistic. The complaints with this lady goes on and on. Needless to say, I have yet to receive written report and Ms. Marshall continues to stall with a date of completion. Absolutely a disgrace! Everything I've read in these reviews are extremely similar to my experience with her. I lost my 3 children to a criminal and their fiance who pulled guns on both of us. ON separate occasions, both caught on video with police reports and she completely brushed them off. It damaged my kids to see this to both their parents by the same person. I provided a nice home, food, clothes etc., but still made recommendations that I lose all legal and physical rights. I proved with 2 different hair folic tests that I don't do drugs. My ex accused me of that, so I 2 test both a year apart to prove I don't do drugs. She disregarded them and everything she asked us to do. I complied 100% and my ex didn't comply at all. That's a small sample. I have been fighting to get my kids back and its costing a small fortune, in which I don't have. I'm ready and willing to file a class action lawsuit against C. Ava Marshall and five star studies. The people involved the better. Justice needs to be served before anymore lives are destroyed. She lies, withholds information, bias, destroys lives etc..... She doesn't care about anything or anyone. All she does is use her power for evil. She is a truly evil person to tell lies about a persons character to the extremely that she does. I pray the person reading this review doesn't use Ava and heeds my warning. Stay clear PLEASE !!!! Trying to redeem yourself after one of her reviews is just shy of a miracle and extremely expensive. STAY AWAY FROM C AVA MARSHALL

C Ava Marshall was appointed by the Delaware County "Imperium" to do an "evaluation" of my children, my ex, and of myself (sole custodial parent). BEWARE! She is a glorified social worker who impersonates a doctor of psychology. She is severely handicapped, bitter, and knows exactly what she's doing. During the interview she appears to be friendly, concerned for the best interests of the children, and maybe a bit confused/disoriented. GREAT ACTRESS.... When the "report" is completed it is a complete work of fiction. Here it is boys and girls, SHE MODIFIES THE REPORT TO SUIT HER "OPINION"... AN OPINION THAT DISCREDITS THE CUSTODIAL PARENT SO CUSTODY CAN REVERT BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN PARENTS FOR YEARS. SHE MAKES CONJURED ASSESSMENTS AND GIVES DIAGNOSIS OF DISORDERS AS IF SHE WERE A DOCTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY....simply to create a desired outcome. Figure it out yet? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for years of litigation, which means children's lives being affected negatively. If you hear the words "FIVE STAR FAMILY STUDIES", you are going to lose custody, and be ordered to spend thousands to meet requirement that this social worker "recommends" in her "PSY-FI" report. If you plan on having a custody hearing in Delaware County, sell you home now, and move beyond it's borders for the "best interests of the child" That is if you aren't already in jail for a false PROTECTION FROM ABUSE ORDER (A.K.A. - THE DELCO DIVORCE)

Disclaimer: Everything that I state here is my opinion based on my own observations of an evaluation that was conducted, and the manner in which it was conducted and reported. This woman was appointed by the delco court to do an evaluation when my ex-wife petitioned for guardianship of my disabled child, who was taken away from her by CYS almost 20 years earlier for abuse & neglect. She was also arrested. The court awarded me sole custody. I knew from the beginning there was going to be a problem. She sent a letter in less than a week wanting to know, " Is there a problem?" in a very sarcastic tone, as to why I hadn't called her yet. When she arrived in her chauffeur driven BMW, she was obviously very angry. She accused me of lying and giving her the wrong address, because she couldn't find my house. My house has a drive right to the door & 2 steps. It took her with the help of her chauffeur/son 10 minutes to get inside. She then pretty much demanded a chair & constantly complained and was very abrasive to me. She had a clipboard and when she moved about the house (only twice) she jammed it in my hands as though I were her assistant. I watched, and she did not even fill 1 page, but in her report she stated that she took 15 pages of notes.1 of many lies that that were throughout the 'report' including claiming that there were holes in the walls & ceiling, that were not. That there were piles of trash around my house, that were not, and that I spoke to my son in a gruff & aggressive tone, which I never did. She stated that she believed that I had financial problems???, with no basis. My house is paid off, I have no debt, and a good job. She just pulled that out of her whatever. And the list goes on & on similar to other reviewers comments. Because of her lie filled 'report', the judge awarded my ex guardianship, despite the evidence in court of her past abuse. He than thanked her for her "steller" service. This woman is an incompetent compulsive liar who's 'reports' ruin families with her 'works of fiction' that she presents as professional evaluations. I find it beyond belief that the courts still use this woman. She is a bitter old woman with obvious mental issues who should have been put out to pasture years ago. I am left with a broken heart solely due to her lies. If there is any action going to be taken against this woman, I am 100% in. I will contact those who have left their info. I HAD A HOME EVALUATION DONE BY AVA 7/10/14 SHE ARRIVED AND 1 LATE AND TOOK 10 MINUTES TO GETOUT OF CAR AND ANOTHER 5 MINTUES TO WALK UP 2 STEPS HOLDING HER CANE AND SON HELPING HER SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO WALK UP THE REST OF MY 10 STEPS NEVER GOING IN MY APARTMENT AND WAS COMPLAINING SHE NEEDED A CHAIR SHE COULDNT STAND ANY MORE SO I HAD TO GET A BEACH CHAIR AND TAKE IT OUT BACK OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX I LIVED IN SO SHE COULD SIT DOWN AND DO THE EVALUATION SHE LIED AND TWISTED THING AROUND AND WAS RACIST THAT I HAD A MIX CHILD AND ALSO I WAS ON PUBLIC ASST.. Ava is the worst. I had a custody evaluation done by her and she lied, omitted information and added information. She needs to retire and the courts should appoint someone who is in much better health with a fresh memory, good eyes and whom can actually walk through the house during the home visit. She gets very confused and in the process she confuses you. I am considering filing a complaint against this woman.

Wow everyone is pretty much spot on my attorney is also currently filing a complaint against her she has no staff in her makeshift home/office rarely answers the phone this woman will outright lie I recommend you keep very good documentation whenever you talk to her better to keep everything in letters deal with her as less as possible let your attorney be a proxy for this woman she is very rude and unprofessional she need to be removed from the courts list of evaluation facilities I say all of these things and believe it or not she was actually on my side in the court proceedings so imagine just how bad this place is .....
