Dr. Nitzel is brilliant and committed to understanding minds, identities, cultures. She links things together in new ways so now I get how sometimes I contribute to my own problems. I also respect what she's created in Kindred Psychology and how highly she speaks of the other therapists there.

My experience with Dr. Nitzel is similar to what other reviewers have described. Her memory is astounding, her mind expansive, her heart generous. She has this way with language that helps to clarify precisely what you're saying. I feel understood when I'm in session with her.

The best psychologist! Kind but not sappy person. Points out my stuck thoughts without being judgey. Remembers past sessions and brings them up when making points about my stuck thoughts. How she does that with so many people is amazing! No idea what that John dude is talking about. I know for a fact she has a billing person and mine have always been filed right quick.

I would not recommend using her services at all. She felt very biased to the point my wife felt she had to defend me to her. Her billing practices were extremely slow yet she encouraged more sessions while waiting to see what insurance will cover and then adds undisclosed fees to your bill after the fact. Very unprofessional and unethical in her business practices.

Camie Nitzel listens intently and offers guidance and advice. She is professional, passionate in her efforts to help you, and offers advice and help that makes sense because she listens to understand your specific situation. She is welcoming to anyone with a first-time experience with a counselor.

My concern was with sexual orientation and family acceptance, being a caretaker for my parents and grieving their deaths, and feeling "lesser and not equal to" others, and not being happy with myself.

I highly recommend Camie Nitzel to anyone with their specific needs, thought processes, or concerns of unhappiness with their life.
