This provider does not even deserve one star! Run fast if she is assigned to your case!!! She is biased, rude, condescending and has absolutely no understanding about DV, child abuse or current parenting practices. It is concerning to me that she is still assigned by the courts with these kinds of reviews, which points to MAJOR issues within the RI Family Court System. She keeps getting cases assigned so she is rewarded for bad behavior. She won't stop until something is done. She is honestly horrific towards children, yells at them, doesn't believe them (and tells them as much) and calls them names! My children will need therapy to repair the damage she has done to them. I wish there was something that could be done about her because she is damaging and dangerous, but she has too many friends within the court system!

How you supposed to make a well informed decision when all the bad reviews are hidden. "If you can not run then walk and if you can not walk then crawl but you have to keep moving forward-MLK, Unfortunately that is impossible if are seeing this counselor. She works hard to keep the family at odds in order to control them.

This lady is the devil herself. I am court-ordered to see her with my father every week. Must be sleeping with someone in the court. She is arrogant, condescending, and rolls her eyes. I went to her with PTSD problems and with a sexual abuse allegation. She tells me every visit that I am lying and that "there are real people in the world that have been sexually abused for real." She is the biggest moron and unprofessional piece of junk that I have met and will not stop until she has lost her license. She rips families apart and is very biased towards one party instead of neutral. Her office is disgusting, her staff is rude, and she is always at least 20 minutes late for every appointment because she is sitting in her room with the door closed and no one else in it. She rushes appointments and is only there to talk about what she wants to talk about. She is awful about scheduling appointments as she is always going on trips and booking other things. WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!!!!!

Zero stars. She is horrible and should have her licence revoked. She damages families, especially the children. She side with the abusive, damaging parent. This has destroyed my child. I have shared her court reports with other psychologist. They have shared them with their collegiates. They are all astonished. Run as fast as you can.

I was sitting on my couch tonight pondering about my current selection with therapist. I didn't realize that there was like an Angie's list for them. I have only been to her a handful of times but I can totally see whenever everyone is coming from. She is extremely cold and busy like. Plays the busy parent approach when listening to you, pretends to listen as she is focused on better things to do. I'm not going to be sticking with her.

I never wanted to jump off a bridge so badly after just a few visits with her. I'm not sure what the exact required courses you need to take to become a therapist is but she clearly missed the courses on how to treat people, talk to people, manners, compassion, and an actual psychology course. The reviews are all realistic so don't expect something different. I don't feel as though she is happy with herself since she treats her clients like dirt, at least males. You're going to be a sinking ship if you use her for help. Personally speaking I'm better off with a revolver with one bullet in the chamber and a bottle of Jack than to continue with Laura. Avoid her at all cost.

I wouldn't even give this lady one star. She is extremely arrogant and speaks very condescendingly. I should have done my research on her before choosing her services because I would have been more prepared for her rude behavior. The negative reviews are spot on. She is also very bias towards men so if you're a male good luck. Maybe she has been dealing with people and their issues too long because there is zero empathy and zero reapect with her. It's like your time does not matter and she rushes you during the interview. She will put words in your mouth and try and control every aspect of the conversation. You will leave her office feeling very belittled and like you're a bad person. Please read these reviews before looking for help, you won't get any help from her; just an empty wallet.

They didn't seem interested at all in our problems. I felt like we were annoying them. They were rude and accusatory at times. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best. They were late to all my appointments. I always had to wait at least 20-30 Minutes past my appointed time. No explanation or apology. Guess my time is not valuable to them.Office and waiting area is extremely dirty. Overflowing trash cans,old crumpled magazines, dead plants. Very unprofessional.
