My husband and I took the afternoon off of work and traveled for two hours to see the doctor. I was nice enough to not offer my hand to shake as I had a slight cold. The doctor said she would not see me if I had a cold. At at time when people are desperate enough to seek help in their marriage, and reach out to someone like this, being received this way was so disappointing, unprofessional and selfish. Just awful. I think it is just a sign that this is someone that would have no idea how to help another human.
