My grandmother is a patient there now and is being ignored with box elder bugs crawling all over her. She was sat up too long and in excruciating pain. So we went to ask the nurse for help and they disappeared I have never seen anyone so lazy in my life!!!

I visited The Springs rehabilitation center today to be with a family member. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff! I spoke to about 4 employees and each one answered the questions we had and made sure we were comfortable. The other staff members always smiled as they walked by. They are so warm and professional, and made the whole experience that much better.

My mom was here for 7 weeks two years ago and we had a very good experience. When we "shopped around" for a location for her, I was appalled at most of the other facilities available. She broke her pelvis in three places. When she went in she had been using a walker and she left there using a cane. She is going back here now because she has a bulging disc in her spine. I hope to have the same experience as last time, but I'm a bit worried by all of the other reviews.

If I would have known what I know now I would not have placed my mom in this facility. The staff does not communicate with each other, they treated my mom for everything else but what she was in there for, rehabilitation. I was under the impression that's what this facility was, a rehab! They had her rolling clay instead of working on her knees, which was why she was there, all she did was sit in her wheel chair all day long, no long term goals, just less for the staff to do. They have no clue and no organizational skills. They do not communicate with the family unless asked to do so. My mom sits on the pot for more than 20 minutes and a given time until a staff member notices her light is on for help. I am going to go further than this review, because I am thoroughly disgusted and saddened. Her blood sugar was never so high since her residency, it was always well maintained at home, she got more rehab at home, she moved around more at home, she will be coming home.!
