It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. I did not feel safe with them at all. I was scared that something was going to go wrong. They are almost always unavailable. It was difficult to get an ideal appointment time that fit my schedule.

Their food is appalling, and they short staff on holidays, leaving the residents without families to take them home with a sack dinner consisting of half a sandwich, a piece of fruit, a ziplock bag of potato chips and a cookie. That is abuse of another kind. When my relative complained about the food, they eventually put my relative at table alone as a punishment.

I have been told that their incentivize their employees by giving them bonuses when they come in under the food budget and when they perform doubtful extra services that they can charge for.

While the facility is conveniently located, beware. They are very, very expensive, not as skilled as they should be with cognitively impaired patients, and have no real follow through. They may not be different than any other facility for an aging population, but do your research very well before placing someone you love there or anywhere.
