Worst experience of my life. I was sent to Dr. Stornem for a specific type of surgery consult for SURGICALLY DIAGNOSED Severe Stage 3 Endometriosis. I was given NO type of medical exam, my pulse and blood pressure weren't even checked!! He just showed me this power point presentation he had prepared linking my pelvic pain back to depression. While I agree that depression can magnify your pain, I refuse to believe my pain level was 8 out of 10 because I'm sad. He never asked me about any symptoms I was having, where my pain was located or the level of it, if I were every dizzy, or had trouble urinating, NONE OF THAT. This showed me he had a diagnosis ready before even meeting with me. I started crying because I wasted my time driving 3.5 hours to him, and he said THAT showed him the best plan of action for me was INPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC CARE. I trusted all the reviews I read before seeing him. This guy may know Fertility, but if you are dealing with Endometriosis, STAY AWAY!! No, he was not warm or welcoming either.
