The staff is wonderful and Dr Haas has been very helpful. Sorry to see her leave to Murrieta. I may follow her there as I had a very bad experience with the new vet yesterday! After a year of Dr Haas working to get my dog free from severe lethargy, hacking and severe coughing (x rays, liking at heart, allergies, etc) and finally finding relief for my dog last July when Dr Haas tried a protocol of prednisone, my dog has found relief She has gained her appetite back and has her zest for life back. When I went in yesterday for my appointment to get my dog's Rx refilled the new Dr was rude and talked to me as if I were a 3 year old and said she would not refill the Rx! She stated that she would never have prescribed that! I asked her what she was going to do and she didn't suggest anything! She actually asked why is waited to come in when I was down to 2 pills and why I hadn't come in when there were 5 pills left. Seriously?! What difference did that make. She said that what I was observing with my dog was impossible - that my dog is not coughing when taking a low dose of prednisone every few days. She said "I have to keep explaining this to you because you are not understanding and I've told you several times." I kid you not. When I asked what she was going to do she about my sog's cough she said nothing and just stared at me! She also asked repeatedly how is administered the meds and I told her how is "tapered" them off. Going from every day to every other day to every 3 days. She then would ask me again how I tapered the mess! Then she'd actually ask again if I'd tapered the meds!! I felt like walking out on her when she actually walked out of the room and I didn't know where she'd went or if she was coming back or what she was doing until the receptionist came in to tell me is have to make an appointment to see my old vet, Dr. Haas, on her last day - which is Sunday. I couldn't believe the rudeness. It was so unprofessional! I also want to add that the new dr (Dr Joo, I believe is her name) never even petted my dog - a large Siberian husky). I don't ever want to take my loved dog to this woman and am questioning my $54 per month expenditure for wellness plan if this is the kind of service This woman will be giving. Apparently there is yet another vet in the office as The receptionist said to me "there's another vet also and this one is sweet,
Would you like me to make an appointment for this vet?"
I said is meet with Dr. Haas on Sunday and go from there.

I was thinking today just how wonderful the staff was that helped us with our yellow lab on Sunday, May 4th. It was our first visit, and we were at a crisis. Our 10 year old dog, for the first time ever, was experiencing seizures. We were able to get in right away, and then later, while her health rapidly declined and the seizures continued, we had to make the hardest and most unexpected decision -- to put her down. We were very upset and the staff handled us and our dog with great attention, support and empathy. If that wasn't enough, I came home today and in the mail was a handwritten letter of condolences from the attending Vet and staff. My husband, our 8 year old son and I greatly appreciate the card and all of the personal messages. It really made feel better and it was just so very nice and classy. Thank you again so much for everything.
