The DON doesn't know her residents, and will throw the staff under the bus if any one complains to the state about any thing, because she doesn't know how to handle a situation. The Admin. isn't around, except with the Rotor people. He gets paid to be the admin. but doesn't have to be there. Mommy owns the place. The owner and admin. doesn't even know who their employees are. DON will not even help take care of residents if needed. The employees didn't even get anything for Christmas, but the other nursing home did.

The administrator is very hardly there. Only when the rotor club meets. The street fair is more important than the residents and staff. The DON doesn't know anything about her residents. She puts on a show in front of people. She is nasty to her staff. She yells at them, the day shift staff. The staff is the only people who cares about the residents. The nurses and care givers are great people. But the DON and the administrator is the worst I ever seen.

The Director of Nursing there is really great, as well as the Administrator. They are an amazing team. Quality care is important, and the DON has firsthand knowledge of helping others with mild to severe mental retardation. I have never met anyone who has such a vast and great knowledge of human relationships. The long-term staff there is fantastic at finding the best care and resources for patients!
