My insurance had changed to Cigna and was so grateful to find this awesome place. I have a glowing review: Becky is the best. Dr. Baldwin super helpful and knowledgeable. The office manager Shannon as well as Nicole helped get me the appointment i needed at the specialist. The waiting area is beautiful. Check them out. You will be happy you did!

Helpful and friendly staff! Always up to date with latest technology! They have a new digital scan for crowns where no gunky impressions are needed! Glad I found this place!

I wish I could give 0 star for this dental clinic. I went there for cleaning but instead of doing cleaning they wasted my 2 hours of time convenicing me that I have gum disease and I should get advance cleaning so that they can make more money. Doctor also tried to convince me that I may have cavity soon in one of my teeth and I should get filling before hand since cavity is in initial stages. They literally forced me to schedule appointments for advanced cleaning and gum disease treatment which I never had. I am healthy person without any issues. I neither smoke nor drink. It was a very upsetting visit. I would never go back to that clinic.

I visited a dentist from Northwood Dental, Plymouth on 12/5/2012 for regular checkup and cleaning. He checked everything and advised me to do a filling which I did. Then I found little tooth ache on another tooth (where I got filling long back) shortly and then visited his office on 1/25/2013 to see the X-Ray and to cross check whether he said anything about the other teeth. I was not intended to meet doctor and pay him but the doctor assistant asked the doctor to look at the teeth without informing me whether they are going to bill it and how much they are going to bill. Doctor took a look at the tooth and said that the tooth needs to be filled again since most of the existing fillings have gone. To our surprise we got a bill for the clarification visit. This time bill amount is greater than the initial visit which is another surprise though he spend less time than the initial visit.

I was new to the area and decided to give Northwoods Dental a try. I was very disappointed. I have never had to have any work done on my teeth (no cavities/etc). On my first visit they told me I had 8 cavities and would need to get work done to fix them. Well, 6 months after the work, I went back for a cleaning. They failed to tell me until I was there for my appointment that my dentist had quit and I would be seeing someone else. This dentist proceeded to tell me I had 6 cavities and need to get them fixed by the end of the year so that I can "max out" my insurance benefits for the year. After calling my insurance, they told me that if I got the work done at that time, I would be paying $300 more out of pocket than if I waited until January (this was in December). I had such a bad feeling about this that I decided to wait 6 months and go to a different dentist office for a second opinion. What do you know... the new dentist I went to said I have no cavities and my teeth look great (even though 6 months before Northwood's dental told me I had 6 more cavities that need attention that I decided not to have done.)

Please beware of this dentist office. They may seem very friendly and it would be nice to think you could trust someone as your dentist. However, Northwoods Dental has proven to me that they don't really care about the customer, just maxing out your insurance benefits and doing unnecessary work for profit. I recommend looking elsewhere when considering a dentist in the area.
