My pets have been patients of Alpha Vets for many years. I have nothing but great things to say. They cover their own emrgencies which is HUGE. If you have ever used a after hours emergency clinic and paid the price you would appreciate this.

I recently lost my beloved German Shepherd to a very aggressive cancer. Dr. Lamb was wonderful, both with diagnosing her and discussing our ootions. Dr. Bruce Frey left his sick bed to perform her emergency surgery. And when her time cam, on a Sunday, Dr. Lamb met us at the clinic to euthanize her. Her kindness and compassion were so welcome. I recommend this practice to everyone.

I am relatively new here, but so far I am satisfied . The prices are reasonable and they took my dog in numerous times due to emergencies . I do really like them, so far no problems. They really try to help you, and answered all my questions without belittling me as some doctors may do. Rate 5/5 stars . The don't gouge you on the bills either , I think they really like helping pets .

My cat has a urinary issue that has been very confusing to try and figure out. After several visits to another vet, much confusion, and no answers, I went to Alpha Vet on the recommendation of my friend. I went twice for the same issue. The first time I saw Sandra Frey. She is great. She was extremely patient, addressed all my questions (and believe me there was a lot), and I could tell she was really trying to figure out the issue. I was probably in the office with her for an entire hour. I was extremely satisfied compared to other vets. I was also pleasantly surprised with the reasonable prices at the end of the visit. Although there was no cure all for my cat, she definitely helped me understand his problem more.

I went a second time for the same issue (I tend to freak out really bad when my cat has an episode) and I saw Bruce Frey. It was the last appointment of the day I believe and if I remember correctly it was Friday or Saturday so I could tell the staff and the doctor started to get antsy once my questions would not stop. However Dr. Frey was also very thorough and interested like his wife. He gave my cat a urine test and was also kind enough to do an ultrasound of his entire body on site and explained everything to me. I really appreciated this. I got some answers that day after seeing small bits of crystals in my cats bladder and kidneys, though I still have no real solution (I don't think I ever will.) After that appointment, the price for the ultrasound only came to around $90 for his entire body if I remember correctly, and my last vet told me it was going to be approximately $300 for just an ultrasound of his bladder and kidneys. I was so very thankful for Dr. Frey's kindness, extreme patience, and thoroughness.

I would ABSOULTELY recommend either of the Freys to people!! I have not seen the other vets in the office, however. The vet office is usually quite busy (can be pretty long waits) and in my personal opinion the counter staff is some what rude, but these doctors are worth it. As a matter of fact, at most vet offices I have been to counter staff has been slightly rude so maybe its just the nature of their job and dealing with people and unruly pets all day.
