Dr. Joe Lewis treated my animals for many years and saved my cat who was very ill and almost died. He's a very good vet.

Unlike most Vets I have used in the Ft Lauderdale Area, DR Lewis is one of the best. I felt that most other clinics are more interested in up charging/ up selling fees then caring for your pet. DR Lewis is always most interested in providing the absolute best care for your pet, and not how much he can stick you with a medical bill. Thank you Dr Lewis

Dr. Lewis is what a Vet should be. We had a bad experience with 2 other vets who were not even close to evaluating our dog's issue. More interested in the cash flow than our dog's health. Within 1 visit Dr. Lewis found a solution and a correct diagnosis! We really respect and appreciate what Dr. Lewis has done for our Maggie. We will recommend highly every chance we get!

Dr. Lewis has been treating my dog(Spooky) for 6 years. I was on vacation and someone was watching my dog. He was 11 and had a heart murmur and a collapsing trachea and I had been getting medication from this office for over a year for his trachea. Spooky stopped eating on Thursday and the person watching my dog called Saturday and spoke to Evelyn and asked should he bring Spooky in and Evelyn told him NO as long as he was drinking water he was fine. I got home Sunday morning at 815am and Spooky passed away 15 minutes later. Dr Lewis should have been asked and spoken to about Spooky's condition and been the one to make that decision on whether or not he should have taken Spooky in to the office. Spooky might still be alive!!!!. Also, they took fluid from Spooky's nipple in May and I was never contacted about the finding. I asked after Spooky passed away and got the report which stated more testing needed to be done for definitive classification. After Spooky passed I left a message for Dr Lewis and he never called back so I went to the office. He told me he couldnt find Spooky's chart and that is why he hadnt called me back. It was there when Spooky died and then all the sudden it disappeared. He didnt remembered my dogs condition at all so he just didnt call. Find a new vet if this is what goes on in this office!!!!

My dog, Bo, a very vibrant and happy go lucky Golden Lab had a hematoma and needed an operation on his ear. Dr. Lewis was very thorough and explained how and what needed to be done, The appointment was scheduled in a timely manner, and the operation went very well. It was just hard on me to see him so drowsy when I brought him home.. Dr. Lewis monitored his recovery with weekly appointments, and today he is basically back to normal, with a slight disfiguration of the ear. Thank you Dr. Lewis!
