Not at all! I've never seen my pet so calm. They really have a gift with animals here.

My pets and I have been clients of tanque verde pet for years. From the time I walk in the door my dogs are sooo spoiled by all of the staff. They always take their time and explain everything in depth and detail. I am always given an estimate and it is explained in detail. It seems like they always come in under the estimate. Dr Hinsch takes his time in checking my guys over and answers all my questions. The staff are very nice and helpful when I call with questions. I have recommended them to many friends and family and now they are clients there too. Thanks for all you do for me!!!!!

I've been taking my greyhounds to Tanque Verde for a number of years. They receive excellent care and all the staff are warm and friendly. Dr. Hinsch is well-informed and an expert in greyhound care. Their prices are extremely reasonable; about half of what I paid before for less service and long waits. The appointments are on time. They are very caring and compassionate. I have recommended them to several friends, including a couple of Pug owners, who are also very satisfied with their service.

They were very sympathetic to my situation, and allowed me to make a payment arrangement which we really needed at the time-- and honestly, it was our only option. That they tried to help my dog was awesome, I am writing this review, only because i am hoping to save someone else a potentially costly mistake. They were all very friendly. The vet tech was a little hyper, however-- trying to excite my dog. She also talked a lot, acting like an expert, but contradicted herself and the vet several times. I knew that they were very concerned for my dog's well being-- as there were several follow up calls, but none of them gave me much useful information-- again, a lot of contradictions. I feel like I learned more from my internet research, most of which the vet tech readily discounted-- because it was from the internet! All of this would have been okay, except for the sad, frustrating impression that the vet, himself really did not know enough about the procedure he performed on my dog. He was not able to answer questions with confidence. I do not think that my dog got the best result because of this. BE CAREFUL only and specifically concerning a cruciate ligament repair. Our dog just tore the other knee-- which is, we were warned, likely to happen. I am bringing my dog to a different vet, honestly, it's nothing personal, these "country doctors" are very nice but just as unprofessional and not at all confidence inspiring for this procedure. Sorry guys:(
