If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best. I had to wait forever after they took my dog from me. The staff didn't even keep me updated about how much longer it would be or what they were doing. One member of the staff was so rude, that she shouted over me as I was talking to her!!! She treated me like I was less than human because I didn't have $500 to be throwing around. I felt humiiated, on top of being terrified for my poor dog. I was flat out lied to. I was told she was being evaluated, when in fact she was being actively treated. The absolute worst was when I was LOCKED in a waiting room with NO way out. If that building were to catch fire, I'd be a dead. Then they came out & stated that I needed to pay them $500 or they would discontinue treatment & i would have to take my dog & leave.
What choice do you have at that point?! So I wiped out my savings account to pay this exorbatant bill, only to later be told that she needed to be kept overnight. To the tune of another $170 dollars. It would be one thing to ask for a deposit of some kind & offer a payment plan, but they give you only 2 options; pay up or your dog dies. I have to say that the vet seemed competant and he was not rude to me at all (when I did FINALLY get to speak with him!). I would never bring another animal into this facility after the way I was treated. Although my dog will recover, I will forever carry with me the hurtful way I was treated at this facility.
