I used Accredo Specialty Pharmacy for a few years through Medco/United Health Care to receive a life saving daily injection. They always contacted me before my medication ran out and scheduled a delivery which was temperature sensitive and told me how they would ship it to ensure the integrity and temperature of the medication. It always arrived on time, no problem with the temperature and no issues with the billing. They were a GREAT company compared to Optum RX which United Health Care made me switch to in June 2013. I have received 3 shipments from Optum RX for this medication at the wrong temperature, ineffective and have had to fight 3 times to return and receive the medication in the proper delivery form. Optum RX even shipped me opened boxes of injections with previous prescription labels peeled off and new ones attached, unethical and illegal!!!! Accredo is a "gem" compared to Optum RX, they should be shut down. If you think Accredo has issues, go check out the complaints against Optum RX!!!!!!

Since Curascript merged with Acccredo, two month's ago, my wife's chemotherapy has been late. Last month, her chemotherapy was two weeks late. This month it will be three days late. These people are rude and flippant. I cannot believe that HPHC uses this company.
Zero stars- they are incompetent.

Had used curascript prior to Accredo. horrible customer service. Constant excuses, no reall solutions. delivery late most times. Cant reach a Supervisor, no return calls unless you call them many times. I have found out they are both the same company now. Noticed many complaints on line and wit Better Business service. STAY AWAY!

I cringe every time I have to call to reorder my shots. They are the rudest people. I wish I could have a different specialty pharmacy. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I give this specialty pharmacy ZERO stars! If I could give them a lower rating, I would do so in a heartbeat. I used to deal with this pharmacy (for over five years) before it was taken over by Accredo. Accredo has destroyed this company with inefficency, ignorance and outright stupidity. I was recently placed back on Embral, granted an expensive medication, needing time to clear through my insurance company, but it has taken Accredo over EIGHT weeks and they still don't have their act together. They call me numerous times a week schedualing delivery and then a day later call back canceling because they state they don't have the proper authorization.

They have called my physician's office so many times my physician and his staff are tired of dealing with them (after giving them numerous faxes indicating the dosage and authorization). Even Embral Support won't call them anymore! My insurance company is so sick of sending the prior approval letter that they've sent it to me and stated that my prior approval has been on file for years.

I've spoken numerous times to "supervisors" in the company in an attempt to get things straightened out and they either never do what they promise (ie, call me back with an update) or they call and state everything is straightened out and someone will call and schedule a delivery. And someone does call to schedule the delivery but then right on cue, someone else calls the next day to cancel. I feel as though I'm living a skit out of Saturday Night Live it's gotten so ridiculous. DO NOT deal with this company if you can find another insurance approved specialty pharmacy!
