Great hospital and staff! I had such an awesome experience at this hospital and i am so grateful, because I have had some horrible experiences at other locations! I thank them dearly for being open 24/7 and for having such great specialists and equipment. It is so great to have a diagnosis for my baby since she has been so sick for so long and no one knew what was wrong with him! We are finally on the road to recovery, and though it may be a slow road, at least i know I am never alone and that my doctors really truly care about me and my dog. Thank you so much!!
I was referred here for my dog's ruptured CCL to see Dr. Phillips. I was so surprised at how nice this hospital was! They have equipment that is so advanced that most places don't even have them, like Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber,CT,MRI underwater treadmill. I would highly recommend AERC
My dog was repeatedly having seizures and I was referred to Animal Emergency and Referral Center from my primary veterinarian. They did a full work up with the MRI and the doctors on staff were very thorough with explaining the results to me. I felt fully informed of the diagnosis of my pet and I am very comfortable moving forward.
I brought my pet here when she started limping, The emergency doctor recommened taking xrays. It was really great that they had them sent to be looked at by a board certified radiologist. The doctor at AERC explained all my options to me and was very understanding about working with me and the option I chose. They even gave me a written estimate for the option I chose. I ended up only needing some pain medications and will follow up with my primary care vet for continued care.
I would recommend this hospital to everyone. They have the latest equipment plus a hyperbaric chamber for pets. They are available 24 hours, 7 days a week and holidays.
My mini Dachshund was in labor having her first litter of puppies. She was so small and her ultrasound said she had six babies in her! About 3 hours into her labor she had only had one puppy and my mother and I became very concerned. We called AERC and brought her and her one pup in immedieatly, at 4 in the morning mind you. They were waiting for us at the door and gave us urgent care. Without a doubt Dr. Wasserman and the team at AERC saved both my dog and her puppies lives. I cant thank them enough.
We had to make a visit today because our dog tripped and sprained his wrist while playing (no, not the most graceful boy). While, yes, the fee is $128 just to be seen (which, lets be honest, is understandable considering that they're open all of the time!!); the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and good with our dog. We did have to wait a bit, but there were other animals in with more urgent needs than ours and even so the wait wasn't nearly as bad as going to the ER as a human. All in all, if I had an emergency again and my regular vet wasn't open I'd be likely to return.
I brought my puppy here to see Dr Phillips for her knee. Dr Phillips explain the procedure in a way that a pet parent could understand . She used hyperbaric oxygen therapy which made her recovery much faster. I love the staff at animal emergency and my puppy get so excited to come visit .
This is the best place to bring your animals . Dr Phillips is the best the best orthopedic doctor. She has taken great care of my puppy . Cindy Lu loves coming to see everyone at the clinic.
