I have been taking my four legged family to this provider for nearly 30 years. They have helped me raise my companions from kittens/puppies all the way to the end of their lives, when they helped me to lovingly perform that final great act of love, and allow the companion to die with dignity, and stop suffering. They have seen my four legged family through nearly every illness and disease that a cat or dog might experience, and in any situation where they were unable to provide the best medical care, they readily offered names and recommendations of specialists who would be better suited for any given treatment.

I am not sure just what the few individuals who gave bad reviews experienced, but it's my guess those few would complain about anything and everything...in nearly 30 years, I have NEVER experienced ANY behavior from SVH that would cause me concern of unrest. They have always placed the welfare of my companions first, and my own emotional & intellectual needs second. The staff have always been courteous, prompt and knowledgeable, and the doctors have always been kind, skilled and personable.

I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. The vets and staff here were so nice and helpful; I have already told my loved ones that they should start coming here. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important.

When I left their office I had a very clear understanding of my pet's condition. I felt relieved and was very please with my experience there. If there should be another issue, this is where I will go.
I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.
I appreciated that the office was odorless. I was able to bring my pet home without having to isolate him for a period of time until my other pets readjusted. My cat felt very comfortable with the dr, which was not my experience at another clinic. He was calm and allowed someone other than myself handle him.
