On 1-16-2013 at 9:30pm our pet was unable to walk. Both back legs were parallized. We called our vet at Kachina Animal Hospital and were told that even though we have been their client since 1989,(and our pet had his dew claws and tail removed upon his birth at this hospital) they would not see our pet unless we had $1000 upon their arrival to the hospital. They would not even consider a check. They do not honor loyalty, nor do they honor 'LIFE'. They truely are in this for the money and not the pet's well being. We ended up calling Prescott Valley Pet Clinic. They were marvelous! They told us that they would meet us at the clinic and when they did, their only concern was to 'help' our pet in this dire situation. The vet's bill at PV Pet Clinic was considerably less than Kachina wanted up front. And PV Pet Clinic accepted a check! So to all those folks that have been told by Kachina that you need to PAY UPFRONT before they meet you at the hospital after hours, there is another VET AT THE Prescott Valley Pet Clinic. And they really want to help! And they are MORE AFFORDABLE and 'PET FRIENDLY'.
