Jake had to have major surgery. They were Awesome. Its always expensive when talking animal surgery but they were very helpful explaining everything and always offering an upfront estimate on any procedure needed!!

Our hopeful routine vet visit for my dog being under-the-weather turned into a nightmare resulting in having to euthanize her. While I'm sure the vets did all they thought they could for our dog, the entire visit overall could have gone a lot smoother. After my dog was taken into the back for emergency treatment, I decided to go home and wait for a call on test results & whatnot. Mostly so I could bawl my eyes out in the privacy of my own home. I was in my car to leave and one of the techs ran out and stopped me and said they got some results and to come back in so the vet could talk to me. I sat crying on their hard-ass benches waiting for the vet to come out for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes the front desk staff moved me into a private room to wait for the vet. I must have waited there for 15 more minutes for him to come in and give me the bad news. Fast forward about an hour, we have our dog in our laps, crying & heartbroken saying our goodbyes, and the lady from the front desk comes in the room to settle our bill! Really? My dog is about to die and she barges in with the damn bill?! I understand it's a business but come on. She was the only person at that clinic that I felt was completely uncompassionate and borderline rude with her collections tactic. At least with our previous VCA clinic they let us go home and grieve and either called about the bill a few days later or sent the bill in the mail. My husband was thoughtful enough to take her out of the room and out of my sight.

Always. Not only do they send reminder cards, they also send adorable cards during the holidays

No, if they had music on it was very soothing
