Because of past experience with Dr. McCracken as a conventional vet, I was so excited to discover she had started a holistic practice when I was searching for unconventional ways to help my dog who had torn his ACL. At first she seemed wonderful - just as I remembered her - but after a few visits, she seemed to become disinterested in helping my dog. The herbs she put my dog on did seem to help but when I tried to bring him back in for a chiropractic adjustment that SHE recommended, she ignored my email request for over a week & only after emailing her again did she respond & tell me she was refusing to treat my dog. I still, to this day, don't really understand why. She made me feel as though it was because I couldn't afford her full-blown recommended program. I could only afford to do certain parts of it. I have yet to find anyone else in that area to help my dog so I've had to go back to the conventional means that haven't had the best success. At the time she only had a cell phone # - no office # - and was only in the office a few days a week (maybe that has since changed) so she was hard to get a hold of. I've also had trouble getting her to reply to emails. I was so shocked & disappointed at the experience I had with her. I never expected this kind of treatment from her & really wish I had a better experience to write about. I know what kind of doctor she can be so I hope other people have had better experiences.
