Dr. Moody is an excellent veterinarian who truly cares for his patients. I could tell immediately that he loves animals of all kinds. His fees are reasonable. He makes emergency visits even on holidays and weekends and charges accordingly. He dispenses medicine for pets at reasonable prices rather than gouging like some vets do.

We stopped seeing another veterinarian in Oak Harbor when they contributed to our pet's death by refusing to perform a test. They also gave us medicine for one of dogs which they didn't need at a dose which wasn't even enough and charged astronomical prices for it.

Dr.Moody quickly and thoroughly dealt with my after hours emergency. I was so thankful that within a few minutes my cat was seen, here on the island, and at night. My cat had been mauled by another animal and was suffering a severe abscess on his head, as he had been missing from home for 48hrs. Dr. Moody sedated my kitty, drained the wound, cleansed and medicated it, gave subq fluids, vitamins, trimmed his fur and nails and sent him home with the proper medications and a very relieved pair of humans. I went in afraid of losing my cat and came home very impressed with his care. His new facility enables him to care for small animals as well as the large animal service that he is known for. I am thankful to have a 24 hour emergency vet right here on the island .Thank you Dr.Moody!
