I brought my cat, an adopted stray, to this veterinarian and was very dissatisfied with the service. Just prior to this, my cat had gone missing for a couple of months and had come back looking horrible. The primary reason for the visit was what looked like an infection in the her mouth, but I could tell that there were numerous problems. I brought the cat to the veterinarian for a full diagnosis, but they only gave her a cursory inspection and said that they would give her steroids and an antibiotic, but that the infection would probably come back. When I asked why, I was told that it just the way it happens. I am not a vet, but I do not believe that infections just come and go with no root cause.

All of the cats dew claws were ingrown and infected. The vet said they just needed to be soaked in soapy water. I asked numerous times if that was all that needed to be done and was answered in the affirmative. When I did so, I noticed that the claws were horribly in grown. I called to see why they had not taken care of this. I was told that they could not tell that the claws were in grown, because of the buildup of dirt around them. I was told that it is not their job to wash the cat and that there would be an additional charge for that. I will never go back to this vet again.

Also, after discussing my bad experience with some of my neighbors, I encountered similar dissatisfaction. I am curious to see if this review is scrubbed. Vidor is a fairly small town and I find it hard to believe that only people with 4+ star experience have decided to leave reviews after; especially after the conversations with my neighbors.

Absolutely! They handle everything from annual shots to complicated illnesses, with competence and loving care

I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. They fully explained my pet's condition. When I left I knew exactly what my pet has and what treatments are available. I was in awe at the level of service I received. They completely surpassed all my expectations and I will absolutely be going back. They seem to truly care about my pets, love this vet!
