When I arrived for my appointment the friendly staff seemed to be waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy.

My first encounter with this office was treatment for my older dog's heartworms. We had recently moved to the area so I had called around to several vets to ask about treatments and risks and costs involved. I got the most helpful information from Mercedes Place and even though there were several vets closer to me, I chose them to treat my whippet.

A couple of years later, she started wheezing and coughing. The diagnosis was congestive heart failure. We had many visits with the doctors and staff until she finally died in her sleep but they were always wonderful with her (and me).

I've also taken my daughter's gerbils to them. One for tooth trimming and one for a tumor, again they were kind and thorough.

Wow is all I can say about them. I have seen some vets become callused and unemotional but you will not find that here. The veterinarian and staff are extremely friendly and treat pets as if they are a part of the family. I could really tell how much they love animals. They fully explained my pet's condition. When I left I knew exactly what my pet has and what treatments are available. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated.
