I was charged 3 times what I would normally pay they didn't speak to me because of them not informing me what there procedures were it caused me to throw my back out and was in to much pain. The vet never spoke to me at all. They also didn't tell of the cost of the visit even when I asked them to give me an estimate like they said they would. They even charged an extra 100 after they said it would be one price as soon as I see my doctor about my back I am going to file a complaint over charging people and not wearing a mask after I seen them speak to multiple people and carrying animals to other cars I now have to get tested not looking for being tested again but I have to before I can go to see my Doctor. My dog after leaving yesterday and today my dog is scratching, her ears till they bleed and hasn't stopped ever sense we left It all started last year when I gave my dog heart worm chewable that they sold me. Now I have to drive 8 hours to the ranch where our vet has 35yrs experience. I know a lot about animals myself I've delivered breach birth horses and sewed cows stomachs back up. That's what happened when I went there. Putting people at risk is bad business not wearing a mask, as far as I know any business doing that should be shut down and is against the covid 19 rules of the state of Michigan that they are not following.

I have been with this vet for 12years or more. I wanted to refill my cats prescription for his special diet cat food. I was told they would not fill it as they have not seen him since 2014. The vet told me my cat was older and indoor so he would no longer need to come yearly. the receptionist said there system went down for a months so if I had something needed done in that time period I was not notified. this is their problem about a computer not mine. My cat still needs his food to eat. they only ended up giving me a month and then no more if I don't have him in. New Vet Please! now searching for a new vet for my pets.

Dr. Nicol and her staff are excellent. My appointments were always on time. They were so good about scheduling us when we called without much notice.
One of the numerous things I was impressed with was the fact that they never pushed any other procedures on us, or wasted our money.
Just last week we had to have our dog put to rest, after 16 years. The waiting room was filled with people, but Dr. Nicol never rushed us or pushed us in one direction or the other. She treated us and my dog with the utmost respect. I would not hesitate to refer anyone I knew to this practice. They are the best!

I was never able to relax during my appointment. , I never knew from one appt. to the next if she was having an " off day". At times, when answering a question, she would look at her assistant and roll her eyes instead of telling me what I was doing wrong. I was a new dog owner! When I complained to a tech, the response was, "did you ask her if she was having a" bad day" ? She also likes to schedule teeth cleaning. $$$$.
I lost count of the vets and tech's she went through! Jeana, was the best. Mary is or was lucky, to have her!!! I would have changed to Miller Animal Clinic much, much earlier. Miller is great! My experiance has always been positive with vet or tech. At times, in an emergency, I've taken my dog or cat in on a Sunday night. I wasn't charge much more than an office call.

I have been a client of Dr. Nicol's for about 30 years. She is absolutely the best -- knowledgable, kind, caring for both the pets and the people. If she recommends an action or procedure, she is always willing to explain why and I trust her judgment completely. She and her entire staff are considerate and concerned for their patients and the patients' people. Their advice is always wonderful and they seem to have endless patience and compassion. I have been gently educated on what I could do better to help keep my pets healthy and happy, and how important it is to take care of my pets' teeth. They maintain a very friendly, professional, but low-stress office. My phone calls are returned quickly. I really wouldn't consider going to anyone else and have recommended them many times to other pet people.
