The Doctor is so affectionate to my Mila, along with her personnel. They gave her their full attention and were very detailed with her examination, along with making sure you understand what was done and what to look for after she received a line of annual shots.

Great place to take your dear pets, they treat them like they belong to them.

I took my pet to this office on 2/17/2014. I am usually the first one there because my dog is seventy pounds. He does not like to to come in. He get nervous and you have to pull him through the door. But once inside he goes under the chair in exam room until they place him on table for exam. The dr. can do whatever she needs to do to exam him. Now he has on a mozzle. But on this day I forgot muzzle and they gave me one. Ok I inquired about having his nails cut. Dr. stated she was to busy and did not have time. Next, I asked about him getting bathed. She told me I should make a appointment. Then her assistant stated he could bathe him. So we agreed that he would be bathed and have his nails clipped, and I would pick him up after 5 pm. Plus I could pay for total services, shots and bathing when I returned that evening. Now it snowing heavy on this day. So I called the office around 4pm to see if maybe they had finished his services early. Remember he has been there since they opened at 9am. I asked the person who answered the phone, how was my dog. She stated he is barking just like the other dogs, he is ok. So apparently he was not ready. So I did not inquire. A few minutes later I get a call from office and I am told he would not be readyuntil after 7pm because Dr had been doing surgeries all day, and I can pick him up now or get him at 7. So I decide since he had been there I might as well let him stay and get his services. I hang up. I get another call a few minutes after that and was told that the Dr. would not be able to get to him today, he can stay over nite and I can pick him up tomorrow. Now I work and do not get back south until after 5:30. I then stated to receptionist, if she could not service my dog all she had to do was say so. I would not have left him, and if she found that she could not service him after he was there she could have called me and I would have picked him up. So I told receptionist I would come and get my dog. I get there the receptionist reads a list from the Dr. stating my dog is aggressive I need to have a appointment if I want him to return and he needs a mozzle. Now I don't know what happened after I left. Mind you this was my dogs seventh visit. He had been coming there since 4 months old. To top it off she had my dogs records already zeroxed and the receptionist gave them to me. I paid receptionist and was instructed to go to back and get my dog. I get back there my dog is in a cage ok, no water, food no covering on base on cage. My dog is standing there. I open the cage put leash on my dog and walk through to the outer office. Mind you my dog has not made a sound. The Dr. is in the waiting office she looks at me and never said a word. So my dog and I leave. I get home and look at my dogs records. She has hand written in red ink need appointment, aggressive and needs a mozzle. This is on all seven medical records. Never once was I asked to make a appointment, I was there when he was examined did I miss something. If he was so aggressive why would she allow him to stay and be bathed. I am confused. Then yesterday, I get another packet with my other dogs records. She sends another medical record for my first dog and has changed the medical record, I guess to cover her back. Now I have two different sets of medical records for my dog. When I went to get my dog I knew he would not be coming back. Its like she is Jekyell and Hyde. One minute she is ok then after working a while she become Dr Hyde. She falsified my dogs medical records. Stated on new record I was not satisfied with her service and took my dog to Animal welfare. But had to bring him back because he was unruly. I took him to animal welfare because what I paid her for one dog I could get both of my dogs give or take. They charge 40 per dog for shots. And yes he did not want to go in there neither. But once in, he got his shots and kept it moving. And if I did not like her service why would I come back. There are to many other vets in the city. I would be crazy to come back if we had issues. The problem is she could not service my dog on that Monday. All she had to do was say so. I did not argue with this women, when I left everything was cool, by that evening she was lying, falsifying records and acting like a ravening lunatic. I would never ever recommend Ashland animal hospital to any one. Now, maybe she will stop sending me different medical records every week. She messed up with the records and I have them. No need for her to act this way. Clearly she has interpersonal communication problems, this is a dog I hate to see what she would do to humans. If you love your pets, this is not the place. They don't rate a star, but I had to click to submit.
