The office does not convey message to doctor. As a patient, it is my right to know what is happening to my body and why am I being prescribed certain medication. Doctor prescribes meds over the phone and the staff lets me know about it. Upon asking the staff to speak with the doctor, they make it sound like I am wrong for wanting to speak with the doctor. The doctor is very nice and knowledgeable but it does not matter much when patients are not being communicate about the treatment. I just want the staff and the doctor to know that a patient who is going through changes int he body and not knowing what is causing it might make them very anxious and worried. Giving them a two minutes of explanation of what the plan is for his treatment might relieve a lot of patient's worries.

When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I appreciated that Dr. H took the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits. I felt fully informed, and I was more confident making a decision. All of my treatment decisions were made collaboratively instead of him just telling me what to do. He made me feel cared for.

The only issue with Dr. H's office is that you cannot get a return call from the doctor. The staff is not able to answer follow up questions and often times does not relay the information to the doctor correctly. There is no email address to send a question to and if you send an email to the general mailbox you will get a nasty note from the office manager and no reply to your question. That aside, Dr. H is too fabulous, an expert in his field and a great guy! I feel totally confident relying on his judgment.
