Dr. Young and his staff are very professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. They truly care about their patients! I am a new patient and will continue to use their services and recommend Dr. Young to all my friends and family. Dr. Young's office is very nice and his dental tools and technology seem to be the most current for the best high tech results. I highly recommend Dr. Young!

I recently had to have some pretty extensive work done on my teeth and a friend referred me to Dr. Young and his team. I have to say that I was amazed at how pleasant my experience was. The office is sparkling clean and pretty, they have all the latest technology, and most importantly every single person on Dr. Young's team is friendly, caring, gentle, and just all around awesome. I feel so lucky to have been referred to Dr. Young and can't recommend them enough. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering a new dentist to check them out, I am confident you will enjoy your visit as much as I did.

The staff members were very friendly and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable. I was surprised and pleased with the patient interview and the amount of information the covered. I have never had a more thorough and comprehensive first visit with any dentist! Dr. Young is very patient-oriented, friendly explains everything his is doing. Overall I was very pleased with my visit. Its hard for me to trust a dentist from the get-go, but Dr. Young and his staff have earned mine! I highly recommend Dr. Young to all my family and friends and you will love him!

They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. Let me just say that the chairs in their waiting room are quite comfortable. Its nice that they care about patient comfort and about educating their patients on dental care. They took the time to tell me what was going on in my mouth and about each procedure they are going to do.I feel that Dr. Young is the absolute best in Richmond! The office is amazing, all new equipment! The staff is so friendly and professional.

Beware of their cancellation policy. My husband and I go to different dentists now, but when we were patients, their policy required 24 hours notice or you would be billed in full for the visit. Understandable, considering how annoying no-shows must be for them, but for people whose jobs require 24/7 flexibility, the very real possibility of being charged in full for cancelling an appointment the afternoon before is disconcerting.
The staff was very nice, and surprisingly able to remember us/details of our life. Dr. Young was also very affable. We really liked the practice at first, but despite not really having any major problems with our teeth, the bills just kept getting scarier and scarier. My husband now goes to a dentist who offers early evening appointments. I now go to the dental school at VCU-- they fixed a small cavity between two lower molars for $53 after insurance. The quote I was given by Dr. Young would have been $1,200 after insurance. I think the dental school used different material, but the fact that this other less expensive treatment option was not even presented to me by Dr. Young was very disappointing.
