My sister Brenda was here for two weeks in July when she passed away at this facility. I have never met a more wonderful group of people that care so much in my life. I wish I could remember everyone's name but Lori was truly outstanding she stayed with my sister and held her hand so did not let her die alone.
She faced time me with my sister after I had left with her own phone so I could talk to her and see her over a few day period. They made my sister feel special each and every day. I hope you all enjoyed the Portillo's that we sent. This is an incredible facility I will never forget how you treated my sister.

Do not use this hospice facility under any circumstance. Remember hospice is death by dehydration and starvation. They ignored the patient’s needs and condition to follow their set procedure. The facility also falsified death certificate information to cover their own shortcomings.

My husband was there a few years ago. I called to asked if it was ok for me to bring some flowers to some patients on the anniversary of his passing. Whenever I received extra flowers for my husband I would give them to other patients. It was always appreciated. So I called and asked if I could bring some flowers to the patients. The person that answered said well just one bunch we have way too many now!! Really? Every room has some?? I am very hurt and feel like she said no, please don't bring any happiness here !! Very disappointing and sad

Absolutely wonderful! conpassionate, professional and friendly, Responds immediately to patients call. Clean and comfortable rooms with a tv and phone. My sister Karen is a patient and she loves everyone there helping her-she could not be in a better facility. thank you.

The facility was nice and I felt that most of the staff were very caring, however I had a very negative experience with one of the day shift nurses, Laurie. I felt that she was very short tempered and unwilling to listen to what my fathers wishes were. Other than that I was very happy with the hospice care.

Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet

My mother was admitted to Porter Hospice because of multi-organ systems failure caused by heart failure.

She loved it there. The staff doted on her--they were kind, compassionate, funny, and caring. Every time I spoke to her, she told me how comfortable she was, how happy, how cared for she felt.

I have never met a more caring staff. Although I was only there a few days during the time my mother passed, I have never felt more compassion from any staff. Any question I had was answered immediately. Any concern was addressed with a kindness beyond basic courtesy. Any time I needed to talk, someone was there to listen--even hours beyond when their shifts would end. And I'm just the daughter.

Mom passed surrounded by the best people I've ever met. I am so grateful that she was there and safe. They made her final weeks some of the best of their lives.

From the bottom of my heart, I recommend this facility.
