I will NEVER have another birth without her. She was amazing. It was my first baby so I was petrified. We sat down a few months before my due date, with my husband. Talked about some things we can expect from the birth, went over my birthing plan, and just basically reassured me that I would be fine. I had a bad birthing experience, due to toxemia and other issues. But Danielle was there in the room to protect my wishes when my husband was sleeping or out of the room. I loved her conviction to make sure that my birth was as close as possible to how I wanted it. But even if you change your mind during the labor, she doesn't fight you on it.

The best thing about Danielle is that when the docs and nurses ignored my husband and acted like he wasn't even there, she included him in almost every conversation we had. I cannot thank her enough for helping me through the contractions (she monitors the screen to let you know when it's coming so you can brace yourself) and everything else she did. I also liked that she did a follow up appt with me, helped me nurse, and is always willing to talk about my birthing story with me. It helps me heal from the trauma of what happened during labor.

She is less expensive than most doulas, but she is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY and more.
