If you are looking for a stylist that does a great job on long or short hair, and is professional in all their encounters with customers, you should try Camay. One of my colleagues has a short cut and she is always on point when she returns from the weekend on Monday mornings. I have been complimenting her for years. I finally got of the nerve to ask her, who does her hair. I was loyal to my stylist, who would have you wait for an hour or better before she arrived. One day, after waiting 2.5 hours on my stylist to finish yet another weave and hearing all her personal business from her cell call that she took as she did my hair, I got frustrated and left. I called my colleague and she gave me Camay's number. She was friendly, professional and she gave me an excellent consultation on my damaged hair. I have been going to her for a few months now, and boy do a see the diiference in my hair. No offense, she is the only one in that shop that is provides a professional atmosphere. I definitely would recommend her and I'm sorry I did not try her out sooner.

Yes, she/he even massaged my scalp. It felt great!

The owner and operator of this salon Mahogany 531 Jamela is the bomb. In my hair dresser experience. I've never had a stylist who is excellent with short hair and long hair. It's mostly you're good at one or the other. Jamela is the only stylist I will ever let cut my hair. She's the kind if stylist that will definitely tell you if something is wrong with your hair, or if something you ask her to do won't exactly work for you. She will give you suggestions. I love her and her shop. The other stylist there all get along and they are like one big happy family. Oh and let me just say her clients are all like family as we'll.

Yes, I was able to go out right after.

Absolutely. The stylist was very careful to make sure I stayed completely dry.

Wow what can I say about Mahogany 531. My first time coming here I was so impressed because the owner Jamila called me by my name as if i had been coming to her for years.The personal interest Jamila takes in knowing her clients is Awesome. Never once have I had a stylist take such excellent care of my hair. It is healthy an always beautiful when I leave the shop. I look forward see all of the ladies and gentlemen that frequently visit Mahogany 531 on a weekly basis. You will leave the shop feeling like your on top of the world. I may not say this enough Jamila if you read this just know that You are Loved and Appreciated. Your talent for hair is a gift. Keep up the great work. 6yrs and still rolling.

I have been going to Jamela for several years. She happens to also be the owner. It is very rare that u meet a stylist that does long and short hair well. I look forward to my appointments because i love the atmosphere,its like a family affair. The bathroom is very clean as well as the shop. I would recommend her to anyone.By the way, she also has a website that you can make your own appointments which is very convenient.
