READ BEFORE GOING TO GLAMOURAMA! THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!

I went to glamourama because I couldn't go to my usual stylist back home. I had an appointment with Elise for a cut and single process color blonde. Elise lightened my hair twice trying to get it to a warm blonde color, and a cut which took 3.5 hours!

The end result was super white hair near my face, orange colored roots and dark blonde/brown in the back which she neglected to dye. My hair was supposed to be 1 color! Elise blamed " My hair looking too warm" on the fact that she hadn't known whether my last stylist had used bleach or a highlift color on me. No other stylist ever asked me a question like that and my hair came out great rather than worse than when I got there. Elise offered to fix my hair for free which was very nice, but I knew then something was wrong.

I texted my usual stylist pictures of what elise had done because I was worried about going back to her and having her permanently damage my hair from a third lightening. My stylist said the job she did was very bad and warned me not to go back because my hair might break. So I canceled the appointment I had to get my hair fixed and asked for a refund from Amy, the manager. Amy offered to give me a refund and asked me to email her pictures which I did. Elise was very sweet and called me to see if there was anything she could do but at that point I was through with Glamourama.

When I called back to get my refund I was told that they were no longer going to give it to me because 1) they had offered to fix my hair for free, and 2) my hair was damaged when I came in. My hair was certainly NOT damaged before I went to glamourama but it is now!

Amy admitted to me on the phone that she saw multiple colors in my hair. I asked her why she thought my hair was fine if I went in for a single process of one color and came out with multiple colors instead, none of which I asked for. Amy said she didn't know about single processes and I had to talk to stylist. She ended the conversation by HANGING UP ON ME.

This "hair salon" is over priced, has horrible service, won't keep their word when they are at fault and will RUIN your hair. Don't take the risk.


They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. The office was easy enough to find.
