I go to Fantastic Sam's exclusively for all my hair coloring needs. The stylists have my records and always do a great job. They are not bothersome with over the top product selling like other salons. I have had different stylists and they are all very professional and personable. I live close so if the wait is longer than expected, I will run errands and return. I would recommend the Shakopee Fantastic Sams!

AWFUL PLACE!!!! I have an adult, developmentally disabled brother that was treated with rudeness and unkindness when he went there to get a haircut. My brother is polite, well-behaved, clean and well-groom and the stylist, Melissa, would not talk to him at all, never called him by name, would not answer any of his questions and ignored him completely when he tried to talk to her. It was so bad that I went up to her but it didn't make any difference. I could tell my brothers feelings were hurt so I got him out of there as quickly as I could-when he got in the car he started crying and said he never wanted to go back there again. They must be under new management because my brother has been going there for about 14 years and NEVER had this happen before. When I called the store manager about it-he just weasled and waffled all over the place about it-said the hairsytlest probably couldn't hear him over the sound (?) of the scissors as she was cutting his hair. The manager, Jacob, knew I was upset before I left but didn't try to find out what was going on or defuse the situation and it was obvious he still didn't care, I guess because it involved a developmentally disabled person, not a 'normal' person. We are never going back to this place that has such blatant prejudice against the developmentally disabled and express it by rude, unkind and unprofessional behavior.
