DON'T GO - You'll regret it! I recently had eyelash extensions done at Capelo salon. Since it was my first time getting extentions, I did my research in McAllen area - all salons said the treatment takes anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours. Capelo's website even states this treatment takes 2.5 hours! The women in the spa were extremely loud, ditzy, and annoying - definitely NOT a spa-like setting. My eyelash treatment was done in 25 minutes! She breezed through the application and my eyelashes looked like a tangled mess. I asked her why they were so crooked, and she said they took the shape of my natural lashes. When I looked closer, I saw she had clumped 5-7 extensions on the same lash, making everything look uneven. She said when I was ready to remove them, simply using oil based remover would work - I have now been soaking my lashes overnight in oil for three days now and still they will not come off. I called Capelo to schedule a remover, and they wanted to charge me $35! All other salons do it free of charge! The receptionist simply told me it's cheaper to pay the $25 to get them filled in again - awful customer service..and aparently no one in this establishment has a brain. Do NOT go here - you'll regret it.
