Today I went to Shear Cut and it was the worst experience in my life that I've had at a hair salon, I've been coloring my hair blonde with highlights for the past 5 years, I had beautiful, healthy highlighted long blonde hair, I recently relocated to the US and a friend recommended this salon. I did a partial highlight and I was very clear, it was the second time I went there, the first time was OK, that I wanted blonde, not yellowish highlights as they did first time, not only they left them yellowish, but with some RED spots in it. I called and they asked me to come back, not apology offered, Lauren the stylist was very rude and kept telling me that their products don’t work in my hair, I felt totally discriminated, she also kept telling me that my hair was too dark, and some other racist comments. I almost cried, when she removed the foil my hair was white! I cried but she did not even noticed or acknowledged, another stylist told me not to panic and was the only person with emotional intelligence in the whole place, it was awful, I cried all the way back home and the owner did not offer an apology or anything. I've never felt so mistreated in my entire life. Don’t go there. Go to a place that provides customer service and that does not discriminate. Now I'm looking for hair color correction since my hair is a rainbow. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left.
