My cousin is at this facility right now and is not getting the therapy she needs. She has had a stoke- can't walk very well and does not have use of her hand and yet because of Blue Cross and this facility they are trying to send her home on her own and tell her she is ready because the Doctor has reviewed her records. He has not seen her in a week to evaluate her. He determines this by looking at paperwork. I can't beleive the care she is getting. This is Tuesday and she has not had therapy in 3 days. And Blue cross wanted their premiums but does not seem to want to help her. They have not given her a walker or help to go home with. I thought Blue cross was a good insurance company.

Their equipment was just average. It didn't knock my socks off or anything, but most of it still appeared safe. They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I was given a brief greeting when I walked through the door, but no one made any sort of effort to help me. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. Jewelry and clothing has been taken/disappeared. A lot of times she is not being cared for, but left in the room by herself. She has gotten pneumonia numerous times because of dehydration and fluid in her lungs, she is unable to eat or drink on her own and the staff is aware of this due to arthritis, but still does not stay up on her fluid intake. Most of the floor staff are very helpful and nice, but the department heads mostly act like they are too busy to provide personal attention. If we were able to afford better attention, treatment and care, we would definitely move her to a better facility.

I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places
