Some caring staff who we are very grateful to have had who weather they know it or not will always hold a special place in our hearts. But with that being said Somethings my family experienced there will always haunt me because my family member along with other residents deserve better. It is true you don't know until you live. A lot of the time short staffed which is hard on everyone. Not enough supplies sometime example glucerna drink for diabetics they didn't order enough because sometimes they would get in more patients in rehab that had a need for for them so since that is a money maker guess who received them Ltc residence could wait that seemed to be our experience. Io had heard a can tell a resident if they kept annoying them they would put them in bed early that evening. This never happened to my family member but there were other things we experienced just to get changed sometime was over an hour wait people shouldn't have to sit int that it diminishes their dignity to the point they classify them selves as a pig it brakes your heart.

The place is a typical corporate run place $$$ first q quality after there are some kind and caring staff who truly do care about your loved one but then there are others who don't it is a paycheck and (the residence)and )family if they are lucky enough to have them visit ) are a nuisance. There was some people who worked there that I am truly greatful for then there are just a few that need to move on this is not a good fit and it shows! Even now after my loved one has passed there over a year ago something's still haunt me and if emotionally I could have handled it there would have been a lawsuit. My best advice take notes document take pictures never let anyone there make you feel bad about wanting/making sure your loved is being taken care of properly stand your ground an don't back down raise hell if need be because your loved ones life depends on it! If you feel they need to go to the hospital and the home is saying otherwise call 911 yourself go with your gut feeling!

My mother was in there for 3 weeks before passing away due to dementia. Daytime staff and therapy is amazing. The evening staff is beyond rude - would rather stand around and talk then help. You need to be vigilante when your loved one is in a nursing home. I know the evening staff was not happy to see me because I always asked for help with my mom and made sure she was taken care of. The administration is wonderful. Anytime I called with a complaint or question - they were great about returning phone calls & courteous.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience. The staff was attentive kind and quick to meet the needs of my wife she had terminal brain cancer. She totally was dependent on their care and love. I was there at least 10 hours s day. When she passed they came to her viewing and church service. I read the other reviews. I never felt mistreated or unwelcome. It was an extension of my family

They get one star only because they won't accept the review without one. This place has gone downhill in the past 3 years. They are grossly understaffed, therefore the residents cannot get the attention and care they need and pay for. Last week I saw a resident in the hallway with nothing but a shirt and a Depends on. This is dignity? Clothes and personal items disappear, the staff talks about the residents in front of them, its deplorable. Residents do not get bathed often enough. They just got done remodeling and the lobby looks amazing, but don't be fooled by that, they got rid of a lot of staff to save money, I assume.
