This nursing home (see profile at http://www.ourparents.com/13091) is not located in a hospital or a continuing care retirement community (CCRC). As of April 2010, the medicare rating for Taylor Nursing And Rehabilitation Center, was 1 star, which is a lower rating than 79% of nursing homes in Pennsylvania. Please note, that this nursing home has been designated a "Special Focus Facility" due to a variety of problems. It has been designated as such since 04/05/2010.
No matter the price, this place is completely horrible. They treat patients more like pests than people. I've been told by staff they will intentionally change prescription dates so they don't have to contact the patients' doctors to renew it. They will hide evidence of patient accidents and then fire any employee that threatens to go public. If you care about your loved one, avoid this building.‎
