The facility is old but they have 24 hr maintenance. The staff that took care of my parents were exceptional. My dad was there in February and on hospice. The staff was very attentive to his care but at times the cnas were rough in handling him. He was in alot of pain and the nurses tried to keep him comfortable as possible. They bathed him everyday and he liked that.My mom was there in August and was lucky to have some hometown nurses take care of her. She felt personal care was given to her. I would say that all the staff from cleaning, maintenance, cna, and nurses all took care and made my mothers time there comfortable. They would all talked to her and ask her how she was feeling or how her day was this made her very happy.
In last consciousness my mom called her LPN Viola "thats my friend" and smiled. You can't get better than that!

Most of the facility is old and upkeep is so so. There is a new wing which unfortunately has limited capacity. However, the staff is attentive and treatment of residence whether long term on rehab is respectful. They work with the families to get all the concerns / questions / needs addressed immediately. Best Social worker I have dealt with. So the ideal would be nicer accommodations & great care but great care outweighs looks.

Not a nice atmosphere. No hot water in some rooms (overheard some residents saying this to employees). Some staff is friendly, some are curt. Not recomended.
