I was very unhappy with my mother’s care. I was not allowed to speak with the doctors or NP. I was not allowed to speak with the therapists. Her doctor recommended certain blood tests, and they refused to perform them. The excuses I got whenever I asked was, “I don’t know why that wasn’t done. Their responses were vague, non-responsive and they seemed very defensive when asked basic questions. The information I got was conflicting and then I was told, “I don’t know why you were told that.” The nurse always seemed annoyed, as if I was bothering her. It was very difficult to speak with my mother, as there are no phones in the rooms and when I brought her cell phone, they did not ensure it was charged. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place.

Some of the staff are caring but others just treat the resident as a number. The staff just walks around with a burr stuck up their butt. They don’t smile or interact with the residents. The cost of care is redicously too high for the care that is given. If you tell the staff that u would like something done for our loved one you might as well be talking to a brick wall. The PT dept sucks.

No, they've never taken personal calls with me

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!

Definitely! I saw it as soon as I walked in!

Absolutely! I'm always able to get my questions answered over the phone right away!

II worked in the nursing field at Pine Meadows Health care a few years ago and should not have resigned my position. I love the people there, employes and patients. Speaking from experience, the employees are demanded to show respect and give dignity to each and every patient. The Director of Nursing and supervisor is intensely involved in the care of each.
The employees are the best. Always willing to lend a helping hand if needed. Polite and courteous to others. I would definitively recommend Pine Meadows Health care to anyone. As a matter of fact, when the time comes to place one of my family members in a home: It will be Pine Meadows.
