There's Nothing Bogus about what was stated about this nursing home. You must of not read clearly when I said I AM CURRENTLY EMPLOYED AT THIS NURSING HOME. Meaning I still work at Alaris and I know well enough what goes on in this facility from top to bottom. There are CNAs who are very abusive towards the patients. Didn't a patient get pushed about a week ago by a CNA and when the STATE arrived the next morning, the head nurse along with the CNA who was caring for the patient; lied and stated that the patient fell?! The administrator also swept that BS under the rug too! Also since November of 2014 there hasn't been a Certified Food Director in the Dietary Department; Am I lying about that too?! NO! Is Elliot Fernandez fit for the Food Director Position?! NO he's not! He's not even certified to do so. Mind you, He has another doing his online classes because he doesn't know nothing and yet wants a certificate just to feel macho and continue to harass his employees in his department. It's bad enough he sits on his rear end all day and doesn't do nothing at all, yet the administrator walks by and he gets up and pretends to act like he's doing so much. Come on everyone knows that! How about Alaris is getting sued due to a CNA taking pictures of a residents private parts and sending them to the residents family member to prove that the CNAs there don't properly care for the residents. Am I lying about that too? NO! There are residents who go to bed hungry and are losing weight due to not eating because the current CNAs don't really feed them. Am I lying about that too? NO! Please don't make it seem as if Alaris At Boulevard East is so great. This place is horrible! PEOPLE DONT PUT YO

This last review is bogus. This probably was a termianted employee. Its an excellent place to work and the patients are very much cared for.

I give it 5 stars though it may need new carpet the staff really love the patients and try very hard to give best care they can.

I've only worked here a short time but everyone from the top to the bottom care about the patients and are very kind to them.

I'm currently employed at this nursing home. It's sad to say that the staffs along with the administrator who work at this nursing facility are so corruptive in this place. Patients fall, and they all tell the "State" that the patient fell on their own. Yet, they have abusive CNA's working at this facility but of course everyone sweeps everything under the rug. Secondly, they have an UNCERTIFIED SO CALLED FOOD DIRECTOR IN THE DIETARY DEPARTMENT by the name of "Elliot Fernandez" who doesn't know how to run a kitchen, nor knows anything about nothing in that department. How can an administrator have a 25 year old who hasn't even graduated highschool nor has the ability or the skills to run the dietary department not to mention, he isn't certified by the state nor is he a food director graduate; to be allowed to run a kitchen without proper documentations?! Seriously this is ridiculous! When is the state really going to investigate this place??!!

Whenever I've visited this facility, it's always smelled really bad. They really need to clean or sterilize the facility more. I definitely don't trust their advice, because they have a social worker there by the name of Denise who as far as I am concerned is completey inexperienced to handle the position because she has not idea how to actually deal with mental patients. From personal experience that my family is going thru currently, they are only concerned with the bottom dollar as far as we can tell. My family member is at this facility but they are not there on Medicare and/or Medicaid, they are actually paying the facility $9,000+ a month to be taken care of in the current state that they are in and instead of helping us the family when we expressed our concerns and issues with the way our family member was acting, their useless social worker stated they feel that the patient is fully rational in all of what he is doing and what he is planning and advised us that the Power Of Attorney that we have to take care of our family member is completely null and void because the patient is fully capable of making their own decision, which if that was the case our family member would not be in a mental facility, our family member would be home with us, but in the current state that our family member is, we are not able to provide him with the care that they currently need. The only reason our family member is in this facility is because we were given 2 days notice that they were being released from the hospital and Palisades Nursing Home were the only ones that would accept our family member on such short notice. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best.

Never. I don't think they care about helping their clients save money

Very, they contradicted everything I said and became very angry

Yes! I know that I would have gotten better service anywhere else!
