I was just there visiting a relative and I noticed a man sitting in a wheel chair he tried to get up 3 or 4 times and the man kept telling him to sit down, everytime this man tried to get up his pants were falling down, it was so heartbreaking to see.Staff that work there are very rude to the patients, get annoyed if you push the button for assistance, not sure if they are under staff or if they just don't like their job. it is very depressing there. they should have some activities for the patient to do such as play bingo, play some music, have someone come in maybe do some painting. or read a short book.
do you allow volunteers to come in to help????

I have only been a visitor but, having visited many times to many facilities to visit family members and friends, I am keenly aware of the differences among health care facilities. I can sum up my 5 star rating by saying that I felt guilty for a long time that I had not tried to get a place at this facility for my dear mother. Everyone deserves a friendly, caring staff and surroundings that are clean and pleasing to the eye.

My mother is here on this date and the nurses have very little control over the aids which is a major problem . I find the nurses to be very professional and hard working . I have visited the facility at different times of the day and have found the nurses are feeding the patients while the aids are no where to be found. I suspect the aids are cheap labor a poor management decision. .My mother has lost over 45 pounds in 2 months and has been hosplized two time for dehydration .Mom has dementia and needs assistance eating and drinking which always when mentioned to staff who response is an excuse . When they get sued for neglect one day they will pay for the cheap labor they have hired .Management has a total disconnect from what is going on.

I am extremely disappointed and upset by the service provided by Norwegian "Christian" Home and "Health" Center. The nurses and aids are rude but not only that, they do not take care of their patients from what I have witnessed with my own eyes. If my grandfather asked for a second glass of water, he was told "no you already had one". If my grandfather needed to use the bathroom, he was told to wait, and by wait, he waited over 20 minutes. He is 90 years old. I dont believe its very christian to steal either. My grandfathers cell phone was stolen from his room and I highly doubt one of the patients in wheel chairs wheeled their way in there and stole it themselves. My grandfather fell twice and hit his head under the care of Norwegian and is now in the hospital. He is DEHYDRATED and has a UTI. Maybe that second glass of water and bringing him to the bathroom on time wouldve been smart dont you think? This was a horrible and upsetting experience and this place should be shut down!
