Morris Hills seems to be a very good facility. My father is there recovering from major surgery and is receiving physical therapy so that he may be able to fully function on his own quickly. I sat in on a PT session and was impressed. The nurses are capable and friendly. The rooms are large and hotel-like. My father gets all required medications when needed in a timely fashion and the food isn't too bad. My father previously stayed in another local facility which paled in comparison to Morris Hills. I am happy with them so far. I especially like that the facility has separate floors for separate patient needs. The other "unnamed" facility had dementia patients mixed with surgical patients and I did not like that all patients were treated as though they were mentally incompetent. Morris Hills treats the patients well and Dad is on a surgical floor for short term patients. The staff seems to treat everyone with respect and I have spied on them when they didn't know I was watching so I have seen that they really do care and are respectful. If all continues to be this good, I will come back and give it 5 stars.

I was somewhat uneasy during my appointment. I was never able to fully relax. They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me.
