Village at Luther Square (Also known as VALS and LIFE-NWPA) is one of the worst nursing home agencys out there. This is a miserable, depressed facility. They treat their employees horribly and fail to address clients' needs. They fire employees left and right, which is bad business practices (in terms of their reputation as well as bad fiscal policy) and is also hard on the populations they serve. They are always understaffed because of this. If you don't believe me just look at the employment section in The Erie Times Newspaper every single week. To constantly be adjusting a new worker simply because the agency feels the need to save a buck is very difficult, and one day it will come back to haunt them. Their practices are also very questionable, (hence three names) and it is obvious that the point is to make money rather than help people. This is a true recipe for disaster. It is only a matter of time before something serious will put this company out of business. I would not recommend this nursing home or as a possible employer.
