There is nothing GRAND about this hellhole Animals left at animal shelters are in better hands. The place is filthy and get ready for the smell of urine to smack you in the face as you enter. The staff for the most part are uncaring, unfeeling, lazy and unwilling to go out of their way to help the poor souls seemingly imprisoned in this dump. But I saved the worst for last. Upper management in this place is beyond disgraceful!! It’s as if being neglectful to patients and their families is their goal. Yes the only thing they are concerned with is $$$, but they are more pathetic than that. I dare anyone that has a loved one there, to try and get an answer to any question or concern. They go into hiding. And if by some miracle you can corner one, you will face, especially under the circumstances of suffering with someone you love and see being mistreated an arrogance of power, a total lack of caring or concern on their part. Believe me there is a special place in hell reserved for people like them. It will haunt me for the rest of my life that my poor dying wife had to spend a second in this place before we were lucky enough to get her the hell out of what became a private hell for her. Dignity, respect, caring, feeling all attributes you will not find here!!!
It's been good. Physical therapy is making sure I continue.my progress with the goal of going home. Meals are good. Nursing staff is very friendly and efficient.
I worked in the Nursing Home many years ago as a Nurses Aid. And so did my Mom. this Nursing Home was one of the nicest homes in the area. The staff and Patients were so kind. And the head Nurses and Nursing Supervisor was the best. I highly recommend this Nursing Home to anyone I worked there from 1975-1978 and left cause I got married and moved out of the area
The Grand at Pawling has a good facility. They have some great people working there and some that need to be weeded out, since they make it harder for others to do their jobs.
